  This was my first visit and I LOVED it!
  
  I am vegan and I was told by locals they had vegan options. When I went to order they didn't have any vegan baked goods prepared but ensured me they would make them fresh if I was willing to wait.
  
  I ordered an almond chi latte and it was amazing and while enjoying their lovely patio with my latte Davi, the employee, brought out a complementary fresh vegan gluten free chocolate chip cookie. It was delicious and the thought and effort of her going out of her way to better my already great experience was so nice and refreshing.
  
  I WILL be back! Thank you for your amazing service and yummy treats!

  Stopped in for Breakfast, everything was great, got cookies to go, also very good. Try the outdoor patio!

  We had a very unique request for a wedding cake and Marie Shannon's nailed it. They are easy to work with, reasonably priced, and the cake was delicious. We loved our custom wedding cake, and will be using them in the future if we ever need another cake!

  Hubs and I have been on the wagon regarding sugar but today was just a day that required sweetening.
  Stopped by after lunchtime, wish I could have tried one of the empanadas! They sounded great!
  Shopped the large cookie selection and came up with a peanut butter and a Mexican chocolate cookie. Had to be extra indulgent and also got a lemon bar and a chocolate dipped coconut macaroon.
  All of the cookies are extra large and $1.85 each. Other desserts vary but all seemed reasonably priced. For those bargain shoppers, they also package four or so day old cookies in one bag. Not sure of the price there but obviously discounted.
  The peanut butter cookie is what I tried first. I just couldn't get peanut butter out of it, and the edges were super dry. It certainly wasn't a bad cookie, just really didn't do it for me though.
  The Mexican chocolate cookie seemed a lot fresher, much more chew. Nice flavors, although I couldn't really get Mexican chocolate out of it. It was a very good dark cocoa-y cookie.
  The lemon bar had a super intense lemon filling that was very tart. The crust was the thinnest crust I've seen on a lemon bar, and so it was completely softened. It gave the impression of being a couple days old because of the wettish crust.
  The coconut macaroon was humongous! I was pretty excited about it. When I tasted the chocolate that it had been dipped in I was over the moon happy. Good quality dark chocolate, moist coconut macaroon. 10+!!
  So I apologize because I know I'm picking out 'flaws' but I am a baker. I have really high standards when it comes to baked goods. I am extremely happy to have a bakery like Marie Shannon's here in Ventura. I cannot stand supposed bakeries that are just mixes and shortening. She is making real, quality products with good ingredients, and I am grateful.
  Having some makes me look forward to trying other items.
  But those coconut macaroons... I'll be back for you!!

  I love Marie Shannon!
  We started coming here in 2014. From baby showers, gender reveal to first birthdays, Shannon has done them all! She's always wanting to make sure every detail is perfect. Her vanilla cake at my
  Baby shower was such a hit! Everyone went back for seconds. Her cakes have never been dry in my opinion and the frosting is always tasty! And I'm not a huge fan of frosting! Anyway, she's always come
  through when I've needed something last minute.'I own a business myself and sadly at times I space. But have no fear because Shannon is always willing to take on your baking needs even when you're in a pinch. I'm so appreciative of her and how hard all her employees work to make sure the cakes turn out exactly how I want them to. Thank you Shannon!
